Autochk. Grand theft auto 2. program not found - skipping AUTOCHECK - posted in Windows 7: I ran chkdsk/r attempting to fix a separate issue. Office 2007 free activation key. And then I noticed afterwards that during the boot process, I would get.
Hello, so what's Happening is when I boot my PC it comes up with the 'autochk program not found - skipped AUTOCHECK' error and then it blue screens saying the PC ran into a problem, and it will loop this over and over, while being unable to access windows.
This was caused due to me trying to adjust permissions in order to delete some files on my C: drive (not SYSTEM files, just program files). So basically I deleted the current permissions such as SYSTEM and then added my admin account as the main one (like the guides on YouTube etc say to do). I tried to change it back to the original persmissions but it kept saying ACCESS DENIED, and I have restricted permissions (unable to access c: drive).
So I restarted my PC and now it is doing the autochk error. It was a mistake on my part. How can I deal with this? I have no restore points in the troubleshoot option, repair does nothing etc. thank you in advance.

Windows 10 Autochk Not Found In Windows 10
- 2 times my Notebook didn't boot anymore, it shows as an error: autochk not existing, skipping AUTOCHECK. The first time I reset the Notebook and it worked, I made a few restarts. After the last restart the same problem, it did not boot, the same failure (autochk not existing, skipping AUTOCHECK), I.
- 'Originally I thought this was a boot issue, but it is clear that the machine is trying to boot into W7 but is stopped by the 'not found' program. From the W8 desktop I can access the W7 partition and autochk.exe is where it should be, but whether it is corrupt or not I don't.
